Enchanting chateau in a charming country
This chateau looks gentle and windsome, dreamy and a bit sleepy — exactly the way a country seat should be. It was built for Count Karl Chotek between years 1842–1845. Here spent her youth granddoughter of Karl Chotek – Sophie Chotek, which the successor to the Austrian throne, Archduke Franz Ferdinand d´Este fell in love with. Both of them were shot to death in 1914 during their visit of Serbian city Sarajevo, their assasination lead to the massacre of the first World War.
